The short version

anagram cv doesn't save your CV. What you type stays in your browser tab, and closing the tab erases it. The only time anything is sent to a server is if you tap Prepare for interviews, Draft from my CV, Draft bio, Draft statement or Draft cover letter, and even then it isn't stored.

What stays on your device

Everything you type into the form, the live preview, and the PDF. The PDF is created on your own device and is never uploaded anywhere. Your browser, not anagram cv, may keep or restore what you typed, for example when a tab is suspended or restored, so close the tab, or the browser, to be sure it is gone on a shared computer.

What is sent, and when

Only when you tap Prepare for interviews, Draft from my CV, Draft bio, Draft statement or Draft cover letter. For interview questions, your headline, any areas of focus you ticked, your summary and the details you entered in the practice and education sections, internships and publications are sent to anagram cv's server. For the summary draft, the same kind of details are sent, without your summary, and with your city if you entered one. For the bio, the statement of purpose and the cover letter, the same kind of details (including your city) are sent together with what you typed in the statement questions (what you are applying for, why, and what next) and, for the cover letter, the firm or organisation, the role and why it interests you. The name you entered in the name field is removed from everything before it is sent. The server passes them to an AI model running on Cloudflare Workers AI, which writes the questions or the draft, and the answer comes back to your screen. Processing occurs on Cloudflare's global network; data may be handled outside India.

If you attach a public filing (a PDF of an offer document) for interview prep, the PDF is read on your device. Only the text of the pages that look relevant, with their page numbers, is sent with the interview request, and the same masking described below applies to it unless you tick the box on the filing card saying the names in the filing are public. If you paste a sebi.gov.in link instead, anagram cv's server fetches that one PDF from SEBI's website at your request and passes it straight to your browser. The link and the file are not stored. Attach public filings only, nothing under NDA.

Your name, email address, phone number, workplace and Bar Council enrolment number are not sent.

anagram cv does not store the requests or the answers. Cloudflare states that it does not use content sent to Workers AI to train models or to improve its services, and that it does not store that content unless the customer adds a storage product, which anagram cv does not.

Before anything is sent, anagram cv removes any email addresses and phone numbers and replaces your own name. Any client or counterparty names you enter in the Client / counterparty field of a deal, case or matter are replaced with "Party A", "Party B" and so on wherever they appear, so they are never sent. This happens on your device. Those names are printed on your CV only if you tick Show on my CV. It only catches emails, phone numbers, your full name as entered in the name field and what you enter in the client field, so anything else you type is sent as typed. That includes your first name or a nickname, and other people's names, if you write them in the statement answers or elsewhere. If you tick the box on the filing card saying the names in the filing are public, the filing's text is sent with names as printed (emails, phone numbers and your own name are still removed), and the AI can then tell which real deal your masked entry refers to.

Technical data

Like any website, anagram cv's host (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the page and to protect it from abuse. To stop misuse of the AI features, requests to them are counted per IP address in 60-second windows by Cloudflare's rate limiter. anagram cv does not store the address. Cloudflare does not publish how long its limiter keeps that count beyond the window, so no longer period is promised here. Nothing else is done with that data.

Cookies and tracking

The page sets no cookies and has no advertising or third-party tracking scripts. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, may measure anonymous visit totals (such as page views, country and referring site) with its cookieless analytics.

Separately, anagram cv counts, as anonymous totals only, how often the share buttons are used and how many visits arrive through a shared link. These counts contain no personal data. The share buttons are ordinary links: nothing is contacted until you click one.
